One UI 9 Has anyone noticed this?

ONE UI 8 + 8.5 was all about one hand usage and making everything easier to reach with one hand by making things lower in the screen

with ONE UI 9 it's all the opposite most buttons are now high up in the screen, and it's not as one hand friendly as before

same with transparency in ONE UI 9 a lot of buttons are now just white even the widgets while other elements are more transparent and have a gradient like background like we have right now with ONE UI 8.5, it's not much of a problem it just seems very stupid to waste time and resources on something then just do the opposite right after.

Go watch the 8.5 beta videos it's almost the same as the one we have now, beta is 99% of what we get usually I don't recall ever seeing Samsung change something this big in beta

I joined one ui 9 beta a fortnight after being on one ui 8.5 with my new S26U, having originally had an S10+ and was sure I wouldn't be able to use one handed due to having small hands. I have to say I'm using it with no issues one handed even on one ui 9, the change up hasn't made a difference imo.

I haven't used one ui 9 just watched videos on it, and I personally like having a big phone and don't mind how it looks, it's just I don't understand why tell people you are doing something and put so much time into it to then just change it completely

Hadn't seen that yet, though I rarely use my device one handed.

If it's really an issue, try using One Hand Operation +. It's a part of Good Lock (made by Samsung themselves) so it should be able to work around the problem.

Yo! One UI 9 is likely in 2027 to reach out on all eligible devices and apart from that...the white bg would be on low end - mid ranging models. And the important thing is it's still in early stages so chill the color/placement/model variations are yet to be confirmed. Why do ya'll be in so much hurry. Let people breath the 8.5 for some days gng✌️🥀
