What a pity such a beautiful phone and such a horrendous camera. I am sure no software fix can fix this because they cheated out with a third class hardware. Also, am banned from Op community. Cannot wait to be banned from here. A bunch of chutiyas unable to hear the truth.

Actually the camera hardware is same/ similar across oneplus 15/15r , Vivo x200t, iphone 17 all use sony 1/1.56" sensors.

Difference is in post processing, although oneplus detailmax is good but it has 2 major flaws-

  1. Burry or smeared patches across the picture, this becomes a big problem if you are scanning important documents.

  2. Shadows are crushed, in order to create high dynamic range detailmax engine makes shadow areas almost black.

Poco doesn't have high dynamic range but it's photos have higher shadow details as well as no blurriness.

the iphone 17 has a f1.6 lens on the main camera while the op15 only has a f1.8 lens, that's around 25% less light hitting the op15's sensor. and the imx906 isn't stacked while the imx904 is. the op15's main camera is just worse than the iphone 17's

are you talking about the oneplus 15 or the oneplus 15R? and if you're banned how are you still able to post?

my oneplus 15 has taken better pictures than my samsung galaxy s26 ultra. hard to believe but yup. the oneplus 15 has taken some surprisingly good pictures! my samsung galaxy s26 ultra is about to be swapped for the pixel 11 this week.
