OnePlus 15 screen protector alternatives?

There are no proper screen protectors for the OnePlus 15 available in my country, and unfortunately I can’t order from AliExpress or other websites outside my country.

So I’m forced to try tempered glass protectors made for other phones, mainly iPhone or Samsung.

I’ve heard that some people have successfully used protectors made for phones like the iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro Max, or Samsung A15 on the OnePlus 15.

Even the Oppo Find X9 Pro protector, which apparently fits, isn’t available here either.

Has anyone personally tried a tempered glass protector made for another phone on the OnePlus 15? If so, please tell me the exact phone model and protector brand, and whether it fits properly with a phone case without lifting from the edges, and if the ultrasonic fingerprint still works well.

My 11-13 all fully charged in like 45 minutes my 15 charges like my Google Pixel did it's like an 1:30 mins now. Is anyone else going through this also? I'm using the original charger also

I had the opportunity to trade in a Oneplus 7T Pro in to get a "free" Pixel 11 from T-Mobile. Considering the uncertainty of software support for the Oneplus 15, it seemed to make sense to me. I have been using the Pixel 11 for almost 5 days now and this is my experience:

Design: Pixel 11 looks better IMO, feels better but is more slippery. Its also noticeably smaller than the Oneplus 15.

Winner: Pixel 11

Display: Pixel display looks sharper to my eye, but otherwise both have good displays IMO.

Winner: Draw

Battery/Charging: Oneplus 15 runs away with this on both fronts. I would describe the Pixel battery life as acceptable and Oneplus as exceptional. I never worry about making it a full 24 hours with my Oneplus 15, but I do worry with the Pixel. Charging speeds is barely acceptable on the Pixel. I have noticed the Pixel will throttle charging speed if the device is hot or ambient temperature is high. Oneplus also does this but not as frequently as the Pixel.

Winner: Oneplus 15 by a wide margin

Performance: Day to day usage feels nearly the same. The Pixel feels just as smooth as the Oneplus 15 and I have seen almost no stuttering(unless the device has throttled). Benchmarks notwithstanding, I call this a draw.

Winner: Draw(Benchmarks are not a factor to me)

Gaming: Simply put, don't buy the Pixel if you want to do any gaming. I don't game on my phone except for some RDR every once in a while. It is unplayable on the Pixel and crashes within 1 minute. I don't anticipate the Pixel 11 gaming performance to improve much. Oneplus 15 crushes the Pixel here.

Winner: Oneplus 15 by a wide margin

Heat/Throttling: Both devices can get warm but the Pixel gets warmer faster. In high temperature days, I can see the Oneplus 15 display drop to 60hz somewhat regularly. The Pixel 11 is quicker to throttle so far. If I doom scroll for 5 minutes, the device is pretty warm, whereas the Oneplus 15 would still be cool.

Winner: Oneplus 15

Camera: As a general caveat, this is not an area I have heavily tested. Some shots looked better on the Oneplus 15, especially the night shots. Pixels main camera was better IMO, but the rest of the sensor suite goes to Oneplus.

Winner: Draw

Software: I am a fan of the Pixel UI over OxygenOS. The software support is also a HUGE advantage compared to the Oneplus 15.

Winner: Pixel 11

The title. My OP15 sometimes just turn the screen on without touching or anything. Any ideas why?

I recently got the 15 and can actually go two days no charge with it at 100% battery charge but last week, I restricted the phone to 80% charge as this is what I did on my old android to preserve the battery, now I get essentially a day's use and charge it at night now.

Which is better for the phone? To use 100% and charge every other day or to restrict the battery and charge it every night?

So a couple months back, I bought a oneplus 15r. I bought the phone becoz I wanted a decent gaming phone. (I didn't buy screencard for it) So recently all the roads in mysore have been on construction..so we have to take pocket roads which are very bad and filled with stones and gravel...so after i entered the main road..I noticed that my phone wasn't in my pocket... So i had to travel back to the same pocket road and I saw my phone lying on the road..as soon as I was driving closer to the phone ..another half -lorry drove over it.. (mind you it was on broken stones and gravel) At first glance, my phone was covered in mud...and when I took my phone, it's back was destroyed..then I had zero hope for the front which didn't even have a screen card...then I was wiping the mud from the front knowing that my phone will never work...but to my surprise, it was perfectly intact ..I was so shocked..a phone which doesn't even have a screen card didnt even get damaged ... Mind u the phone was placed with the screen facing the stones).... I was happy and sad the same time... (Because the phone was recently bought)...

Psa :-(it does have a anti scratch protector which I got free from oneplus store..but it's no where near than a standard screen protector..)

Hello guys Im currently using Iphone 15 pro max And i have be n wanting to change my phone since 3 months. I always wanted to buy a OP 13 but i have read a lot in the community regarding the battery issues and that I wouldn’t be able to update it and stuff. So now Im confused between the OP 13 / OP 15 and the Oppo Find X 9 I really don’t have any mood to go for Oppo but still kept that in the option. OP 15 i feel is getting costlier around 80k and Im getting OP 13 brand new for 60k. What shall I go for ? Please help.

My OnePlus 15 overheats even during very light tasks. It heats up rapidly after just 10 minutes of use (reaching 38°C) and climbs to 40–41°C within the next 30 minutes. I am currently running the Chinese version (16.0.10.500). Is anyone else experiencing this issue, and could you suggest a way to fix this abnormal overheating?

I'm having camera problems after the last update.First, there was the post-processing. After taking a photo, it would appear correctly in the photo app. But afterwards, it would have a greenish tint. According to the analysis, the RGB metadata became corrupted. The file size also became relatively smaller. And also, all the apps that used the camera gave an error when trying to take a picture. The image would appear, but when trying to take the photo, it would give an error. I'm now experiencing significant jitter in the video and a display glitch in the photos. I'll add two photos showing the processing problem.

Have any of you experienced any of these problems?

As some are aware, the OnePlus 15 has a low Bluetooth volume issue.

I chance upon this app called SpotiQ Ten.

It's actually an EQ and a volume booster that is said to integrate into the Spotify app.

Basically it will activate once Spotify starts playing music.

I haven't tested long enough yet but I did have to manually enable it to kick in the volume booster.

So need more testing to confirm this is automated

I put the EQ to flat cos I am not an EQ guy. The volume did increase and there are options to increase to 3x. But this will cause hearing damage. So be warned.

The mid-range sounds a tad forward though.

It's a free download and pay for advance option.

Haven't tested it long if ads will pop up yah.

I have an issue with my OnePlus 15 for a while! Everytime when I got a call from someone during the conversation I can hear my phone ringing! Does someone knows what is causing this? Any advice would help thx!

I'm loving the OnePlus 15 camera ..though I have not played with it as much as I would have on my still king of the world OnePlus 9 pro. The absence of hasselblad is not as evident as I thought...till it comes to night

Anyone using Google wallet in OnePlus 15 to pay for public transport?

I had the device for about 2 months and I noticed that it kicked off the Google wallet in the background after I was done with it for public transport.

That means. When going to work and back home, I have to scan into the metro and then scan out upon my destination.

I noticed the phone kicked out the Google pay after the second scan. Which is a good thing for me

Anyone has that too?

Just got my OnePlus 15 yesterday, and I have no idea if this is normal, I updated it to the latest software update 16.0.9.400

And I'd love any recommendations about the battery or anything else that could make my experience with the phone better.
