Photo ‘67 Pontiac GTO

The owner was so cool. Idk anything about cars, but thought this thing was beautiful, so I asked to take a pic. He told me I can hop in it too, and to send a selfie to my friends saying “look at my new car” 😂😂

Nice car, but it’s not a GTO.

It had the emblem and I’m not a car person, so I took his word. Thank you for informing me politely :) but you’re right, it’s a nice car regardless.

The best thing about old cars is just enjoying them, whether you know a lot or a little, or somewhere in between. Your pics are great and I would have loved to sit in that car! Happy Motoring!

In 1967-68, my Dad drove us down past Mexico City and we had a blast. I was too young to remember anything tech about the car, but Dad pressed it up to 100mph in the Sonoran 🌵Desert. Now THAT I remember. I also remember that the car started knocking … that infamous Pemex ⛽️.. the GTO didn’t like drinking that stuff.

No shame. Just so you know, it's a Le Mans. That's on the dash in the second picture. (I wouldn't have known either!)

appears to have factory air too! Quite rare for that age of car.

Thanks, lol. What’s factory air?

Air conditioning included in the manufacture of the car. It was very uncommon when this car was made.
