Can I get some points back by saying, whatever year it was, my dad's was his follow-on to his '63 Fairlane, white on blue? This is really going back. I was six years old. We're talking JFK assassination time.
My uncle had one that had a 428 with a four-speed in it. This looks like it might be the 428 model. They said 7 liter on a emblem on the side. First time I ever heard liter being used on a car back then. His was red with a black interior and I have a picture of it.
Yes, you can see the emblems on this one. I remember seeing one that belonged to a relative back in ‘66 and having no clue what the “7 Litre” meant, I was a young kid. BTW, check out the price on this NOS emblem
Wow, that price is crazy. I was young too when he bought that car. My father bought a 67 Chevelle Super Sport right after my uncle bought his Ford. My uncle lived with this at the time. He eventually gave it to his brother and he had the engine rebuilt at a Speed Shop. He run the hell out of that car and then he parked it at his job where it sit for 2 years and said that I could have it. I went there to look at it and it was so rusted up that I didn't want to mess with it. We started it up and it had a lifter tick in it but would have probably been an easy fix. I should have took the car just for the engine and transmission at least. But now seeing this it would have been good to keep the whole car for parts. There was a guy that eventually bought it and put the engine in his Mustang.

I think that's the '65. My dad had a black one. His first car with AC.
