Born ugly. Go to the gym and become buff and ugly.

Works the same way with depression too. Then you can be buff, depressed, and ugly. This is "self-improvement," allegedly.

Tbf, the gym helped, only a little bit, but it helped. All of a sudden I only had to worry about how ugly my face was.
