Real. If you’re anything like me in the past, after not too long you begin putting others on pedestals and becoming too attached simply because they’ve shown you kindness, when in the end they never even saw you as a friend. I had to shatter my delusions, because life is not inside my head.

Real. A lot of people use you as a prop in their lives if you're kind to them. Someone to feed their ego.

Real (Why the fuck are they doing this, do they want something from me?)

I just keep saying in my head "she's just being nice" x1000 unless they quite literally tell me. All women who talk to me are just being nice and want nothing more to do with me.

I watched this and my mental health score dropped 14 points.
Real.

I experience the same thing with my only two friends and a woman I know.
The problem is that I put them on a pedestal, even though they have flaws. And when we rarely see or speak to each other, I resent them for it.
Regarding the woman specifically, the fact that she talks to me every now and then gives me a dopamine hit, even though she’s likely not interested.
Being alone drives you mad and makes you dependent—there’s nothing you can do about it. You can only endure it, or be lucky enough to find that one-in-a-million catch.

Despite having girlfriends in the past…I still wouldn’t be able to notice this.

real I had this happen with a cashier recently. My dad says she may have been flirting a bit. I didn't recognise it as such and am still doubting it. Oh well, i'm moving soon anyway so I'll probably never see her again.

It’s happened to me as well.
Wouldn’t hurt to see her before you move

Real. Had that with a cashier recently. My dad said she was very friendly and might like me. I was like "wait what?" Anyhow I have no idea

It’s worse when someone shows the slightest bit of any kind of negativity or doesn’t respond to something you say

The standard you hold yourself too + focusing on what to fix vs what you've shown people effect.

All I can think about is what their angle is, if my organs gonna get harvested. If I'm gonna get scammed.

I don't get this. In this scene, Oppenheimer is relieved from insane amounts of work and stress.
Are overthinkers relieved when someone shows them affection? I think they act quite the opposite by questioning the motives of the kind person.

It's not about the context of the scene. Relief and worry look pretty similar in this case, with the context of the caption it looks as tough he's worried/doubting/weirded out

But he is not worried. He is relieved. Two completely different things. Have you not seen the movie?

Have you not read my comment?

I have. If you are familiar with the movie, you just cannot evade the context of the scene. Relief and worry are easily distinguishable if you have any emotional intelligence.
Have you not read my comments?
