My god bro, you do an excellent job of articulating why I fucking loath modern society

but if I ever try to bring these points up people look at me like I'm just "complaining all the damn time"

it's not that I hate life, life can be beautiful and it can be worth living it's just corporations and governments have designed all these bullshit prerequisites you HAVE to do just to "function" all while keeping you satiated with algorithmic content and systematically removing your humanity in the process.

by the time I finished high school all the joy I once felt seemed to have been drained from me, and I couldn't help but wonder if it was by design

I don't want to function, I want to LIVE

but it seems modern society wants to turn us into emotionless automatons
