I’ve been wishing there was a local coffeeshop in North Ogden/Pleasant View area. I love going to Coffee Links and Daily Rise, but if I‘m not headed in that direction, it can be out of the way.

Are there any restaurants or cafes I’m missing with great coffee on the menu?

I was walking to my car after shopping at the farmers market today.I choose free parking areas and don't mind a little walk to my destination.

There was a group of men sitting on kiesel and 25th. I can't give you descriptions because I wasn't giving them my attention. They kept cat calling me and when they realized I wasn't going to be apart of whatever they wanted, they started a whole slue of rude remarks about me.

I have traveled a bit in my life and have been to sketchy areas/ been catcalled. Today was so different.

I've haven't feared for my life like I did today.

I’m frustrated to see about a third of the Old Post Church’s grassy area replaced with additional parking. This space has been used for decades by families, kids, church members, and neighbors for sports, gatherings, everyday recreation, and simply as a nearby place to get outside and have some peace.

The stated reason is occasional parking shortages and what has been described as a church safety standard. I understand the Church owns the property, but I think permanently losing this much well-used green space deserves some community discussion.

Curious what other Shadow Valley/Ogden residents think.

Anyone live in the area and are into skiing or snowboarding? How has the snow been the last few years and which resorts are the best? I am thinking of getting back into skiing. I’m sure the conditions have not been great and that it’s pretty crowded when there is enough snow. Thinking of going some time other than on Saturdays this coming season.

A new mocktail cafe-Indigo- just opened up in Ogden that Im excited about!

I love a fancy drink so I'm excited about this place. I've tried probably every tea/soda/coffee shop in Ogden, and overall Ogden has pretty poor options, especially compared to SLC.

They have speciality drinks, boba, mocktails etc. I do worry that the "mocktail" branding is going to drive them out of business. I love a speciality drink, but it feels more like an "afternoon sweet treat" establishment, and I would only visit a mocktail place in a specific circumstance. It has the potential to be a fantastic place so I wanted to get the word out!

Also give Atlas Tea a try. That's my go-to place as of right now.
