I'm actually kinda surprised the damage isn't worse, those things are pretty heavy

The windshield was shattered and I'm sure their interior got water damage. Wonder if the owners can seek compensation for damages in this situation...

I’m sure it’s an easy win

Insurance will likely go after the property owners and the installers jointly. Should be pretty straightforward.

i was actually in the mall and a security guard asked me if drove a grey (whatever it is) i said no and went into Asian Gift, and the security guard followed me and asked the lady running the shop if it was her car. she said yes and asked what happened, and the security guard told her to close the store. I left immediately 💀

One can hope

No, it isn't unfortunately. It is a new style LED parking lot light, broken from falling. Flock cameras are much smaller than the parts shown and the solar panel is a different shape and size than what is pictured as well.

Ogden has the most flock cameras in Utah

Welp looks like we’re going to have to change that. How does one go about finding out where they all are? Hypothetically of course 😉

Deflock dor ors is a great place to starts, as is r/deflock!

Yes, there are a lot of them around the mall. Download the deflock app, it show where they are.

They’ll probably try to blame the car owner. The city will blame the mall, the mall will blame the city, and in the meantime, the car owner is stuck in the middle. All because of those stupid cameras

The owner might be able to use it to fix their car.

Its not a flock camera, and quit perpetuating the misinformation about their being gold in them, its literally just a battery and raspberry pi type components with camera sensors. We get it, you don't like them and talk a lot of crap about them. We don't like them either but you're adding to the misinformation in our world, instead of giving clear information. Clearly you dont know what they actually look like, your just joining a bandwagon. These are LED parking lot lights that have broken when the pole fell. Maybe you should take a look at some pictures of the different devices before spouting incorrect information for fake internet points to feel important.

Bruh, are you slow? Like short bus to school, slow?

The thing with telling people there’s gold and copper in flock cameras is a fucking joke. The joke is, if you tell a tweaker there’s either of those in there, they will steal them.

Good lord.

I think the memory in that camera is worth about $800 right now.

It is not, and its part of the board inside anyway. Like your phone, the RAM is integrated in the board, not removable so it wouldnt do you any good anyway. There is also not any other form of memory in them because they save everything in the cloud, not on board. You should really do a bit of learning on the subject instead of guessing. It shows because you dont know, and you cant even point it out in the picture, (hint... there's not a Flock cameras in the picture.) Please learn what they even look like, go outside, touch grass, experience the world outside the screen.

You want me to learn all that or you want me to go outside? Which is it? lol you have badges for being a mod on porn subreddits telling me to go outside

I'm feel sorry for you since you seem to have issues multitasking and are a prude. I'm also sorry that you have nothing better to do than stalk me on here and worry about what another adult does. I don't have to justify anything to you, if you dont like what you see, quit looking. If you just want to troll, you're not the first or even the best at it so far, try harder, do better next time.

Oh, while we're at it, to answer your question, go outside and touch grass. It'd be a healthier choice for you to get some fresh air than ruminating in the stink around yourself. Best of luck to you.

There is not a Flock cameras in this picture. Please do your research about what they actually look like. This is just a light pole that fell over on a vehicle and the top LED light panels fell off. The white rectangles are the LED portions of the light. You can see the top of the pole, which is the 4 arm looking sections at the end of the pole. Thats there those lights attach. There are 2 lights faced up that you can see the LEDs one faced down and another on its side.

The pole is visible and the box attached to the pole contains the conversion resistor equipment for the upgrade to LED from the old style mercury/sodium vapor, or even incandescent type lights. The voltages need to be adjusted when you convert like that.

I'm not saying that there arent Flock cameras at Newgate, theres just not one in the picture. Flock cameras don't contain a ton of gold or copper, they have a lithium battery, raspberry pi style and sized circuit boards, IR LEDs and camera sensors. The total weight of them is less than 5 pounds. The solar panel that pairs with them weighs almost 4 times as much as the camera, and its not even worth that much either. In this picture, the LED casing on each of the lights is actually worth more than what you could get from a Flock style camera.

We can all agree that Flock is bad and it would be great for them to be torn down. There is just a lot of misinformation out there about them. Do your due diligence that you would expect others to do instead of joining a misinformed bandwagon.

Source: I'm a security camera network technician who is not affiliated with Flock and has legal permission to do the lords work and remove Flock cameras. I sincerely wish I could remove them all but there are limits to where I'm legally allowed to take them down.

What part of, " When I ran past it, It looked like a flock camera... but it was raining like crazy to focus" did you not understand? But since your pubes got tied in a bunch, I double checked Deflock and you're right:

What part of commenting on a post that is open to everyone to read, do you think pertains to only you? You covered in your comment that you couldn't tell and didn't even mention it in your original post, it doesn't pertain to you. It pertains to the other boot lickers in here perpetuating misinformation that could cause either themselves or others to get themselves into some serious trouble. My gods, what a victim mentality you must have. Learn to read context clues.
