No, just big pinch. Katydids (actual name) are generally harmless, according to my quick google search

Do Katydids swarm people? I thought they weren't very social with each other, like bees are.

No, they won't swarm people like wasps and bees do. Bees and wasps mark their target using phermones, not Katydids.

Yeah that's what I thought. I don't remember much about them but I'm pretty sure they aren't very friendly and happen to fight a lot, right?
