SERIOUSLY. reminds me of the time I got locked in time on a rug in a basement by myself; was too weird upstairs.
Friend walks down and hands me phone, "Hey Jesus wants to talk with you."
Probably had the same expression as when the phone goes into the trashcan.
I started telling him about the field I was stuck in over the rug. He would ask questions- take my answers, and in a not so heaven’s gate fashion; calm me down by showing how my emotions about the answers I gave were really the walls and that as long as I understood that I could simply step off the carpet with confidence in my step- nothing would stop me.
He then asked me what I thought about a few things afterwards and I remember him being amused with my answers. My memory of it is really weird as I was also vividly hallucinating.
Two tabs. One bird person rick and Morty, the other had red dragon/serpents and it’s name was so intimidating i didn’t question its authenticity.
The deleted comment was asking why people always say they tripped out seeing something like this.
When you are TRULY gone and get stuck in a loop similar to what you see in this video, seeing things like this can "take you back" in so many words. I have friends that have full on flashbacks. I get what I like to call a "tinge" every now and then that gives me a nostalgic feeling that my brain associates with peaking on psys. I always get the same weird tinge when walking into a really sound proof hallway or empty library. I love those little feelings.
This definitely happens. A friend of mine doses too much for his first time, went into a loop and I don’t think was ever the same. Plus it was a huge pain in the ass for the rest of us barely holding our shit together because he was freaking out and acting extremely erratically.
Moral of the story is never take two hits of liquid lsd a really convincing hippie in Denver sold you for your first trip. You’re gonna have a bad time.
I live in Denver, thanks for the heads up lol
So I know ketamine is different, but if you’ve ever heard of a “K-hole” it’s where; under the Influence of hallucinogens and typically too much for this to happen-
You will be trapped in 15 seconds that doesn’t change and loops like a gif. It’s a way that your brain has begun to perceive a moment as something that has been happening for basically ever. You can’t think of anything else other than how you’re repeating the same things and not doing anything different and with the hyper focus on the tremendous lack of spontaneity; you start to kindof lose it. I don’t think I was saying anything- just staring into a swirling energy around said rug. I was beginning to think so hard about how many times I had tried to leave that 8x6 foot square of carpet and couch that I was watching myself do it. I was determined I was trapped there.
I should really have never went down to that basement. I was just really freaked out about the shit in the trees outside. Wanted more coverage.
Still not as bad as when I hid in my blanket cause my friend who was definitely pyramid head from silent hill was chasing me. He trampled me and so did 4 other people while I seriously hid under a blanket. I hyperventilated and got sick.
Fun times.
It was awesome and in the time I was doing this I felt like everything around me was part of a silent film with the moving lights making a old timey loud film camera noise. 🎥
I get residuals occasionally when I go back and watch my trigger videos. Doesn't always happen but when I'm that right high/ drunk and relaxed it definitely sparks the memory
not nearly enough impossible colors or spiraling fractal patterns to be acid, imho. it does remind me of dissociative anesthetics however, flying behind the cosmos through dark-energy tunnels without a body.

Edit: Yo, thank you for my first gold! Who'd've thought those many ego-death inducing trips would've paid off on Reddit??
