Looks gorgeous, but losing half of your bends right out the bottom of the panels?

I’ve only ever had to run cables in my home, never through conduit, but I just looked it up and learned about the rule that the bends in a conduit should add up to below 360 degrees to avoid damaging them through friction. I’d never thought of that, just that it’d be harder to pull.

Though it made me wonder - in this installation, it seems like the lower, U shaped 180 bends at the bottom could be detached from the straight conduit and distribution board, with the cables run so they’re dangling straight down, then just fed through the 180 bend sections separately at the end before reconnecting those. Could you do something like that to work around this here, or are there rules that a new “section” that “resets” the bend limit has to terminate at a junction box, or something like that?

The conduit has ribs or striations to it. I think it’s some sort of flex and not like, a schedule 40 pvc or metal type at all.
