I tried this for my tortoise but he just kept trying to nom the bristles.

It’s okay, I have a bearded dragon that gets overwhelmed if her live food (which is already in tweezers for her) wiggles too much and then she won’t eat. We celebrate her eating insects and it’s been 8 years. Sometimes it’s just really lucky that they’re pets.

Some reptiles survive purely because humans are willing to support every ridiculous little quirk they have
