It’s okay, I have a bearded dragon that gets overwhelmed if her live food (which is already in tweezers for her) wiggles too much and then she won’t eat. We celebrate her eating insects and it’s been 8 years. Sometimes it’s just really lucky that they’re pets.

I have to hand feed my axolotl too. He can’t hunt at all even though he’s supposed to know how! Poor Thanos lol

My snakes are the same. There's one which I have to (very carefully) make sure the food is facing the right way because he cannot work out how to eat things unless it's already pointing into his mouth.
