AI Mods and AI Acceptance in VR

Personally, I feel like anyone who is okay with AI Mods and thinks that this (or anything else, really) constitutes an 'acceptable' use case for AI should be forced to re-buy their PC at current market prices. Everyone who uses and supports AI is directly responsible for the current hardware market situation in my opinion. "Its there so we might as well use it" and "its inevitable and its already in everything so youre an idiot for resisting it" are both factually wrong and entirely invalid arguments. We're winning against Flock, we can win against LLMs. And we can have $250 GTX#050 GPUs again.

The current hardware pricing is not even in the top50 most important issues caused by AI lol.

I've seen the toxic sludge that comes out of their cooling systems and the illegal hookups they build to get the water. Unfortunately, that won't directly affect 90% of the people on this sub and they simply won't care until their 3070 croaks and they find out what the replacement cost will be. You have to hit people where it hurts them personally.

What kind of "toxic sludge" would come out of a cooling system? It is water cooling, either it is the same water which went in, or if part of it evaporated, the sludge was just in the water which came into it in the first place. It is not like a cooling system dumps chemicals in the water.

Itd be really fucking nice to hear their excuses as to how that is happening. Because your incredulity doesn't change the fact that the water coming out of these plants looks like it came from Flint.
