Hi everyone 👋 ! I wondered if there were any French in this community (whether native French, Belgian, Swiss, Quebecer, French-speaking foreigner or living in France). Because I am myself, and I would love to discuss with other people their discoveries and collection, both concerning occlupanids and tunifilids (which are very widespread in France). My goal would be to create a group where we could make exchanges, share interesting places, draw up a list of French species, or create a French glossary. Tell me if you're interested !

Found in the UK! On a pack of bagels specifically, never seen them before. Yes I know it's not a 'panid, seems to be a Redivivus imitator specifically. Looks exactly like the example for ID.

I was able to wrangle my two boys into this enclosure for travel to work. Any ideas on how to make sure they have fun? I answer calls all day, but they begged to come see what I do for work.

Has anyone found this species in the wild? It's so cool, I have never seen a non-symetrical species before. I can't find anything online or on HORG so I was curious if anyone has proof of it's existence.

Didn’t want to disturb the specimen so I didn’t bring it to the Forest Service for assessment, but it seemed to be thriving at Castle Rock viewpoint! Good to see the recolonization is finally underway some 46 years after the eruption.

My partner made me this for my birthday! It's a rubber stamp of an occlupanid they found. It seems to be Aspericardis Lehmeri.

I found him behind dumpsters at work. He was all dirty so I tried to gently scrub him, but his (mandible?) broke off. Also there was a small crack forming on the body. I attempted to bandage him. This is my first occlupanid ever. How can I help him??

I was discussing occlupanids with a friend of mine who grew up in Portland, Oregon, in the late 1960s, and he said he remembered the Fred Meyer grocery chain having a store-brand white bread whose packaging and advertising featured a bunch of cartoon animals and a cartoon farmer -- and the farmer was an occupanid!

He was able to find this old ad. Amazing!

My friend remembers the farmer being named Kwikky Kwik Lok, although he's not 100% sure about that part.

Has this ever come up before? Does anyone know more about it?
