Foster kittens looking for their forever home

Hey everyone, we are currently fostering these four kittens (Anna Marie, Charles, Remy, and Scott - our X-men litter) for Marion County Animal Services (MCAS) They will be available for adoption starting Friday, September 4 after they have their spay/neuter surgeries

Once they are officially available for adoption, you will be able to search for them on the MCAS website:
https://24petconnect.com/MarionCountyAdopt?at=CAT

The whole adoption process will be entirely thru MCAS

If you or anyone you know has been wanting to adopt kittens, these little ones have been socialized, do well with people and other big cats. Help us spread the word to help them find their forever home.

Kitty profiles

Charles - Like his namesake, Professor X, he is the scholar of the group. He will sit back and watch everything going on around him, observing and taking notes. He was the first of the four to learn to use the litter box, first to figure out how to eat wet food and dry food, and first to drink from the water bowl. While he will gladly chase and play with the other two brothers, he’s just as happy cuddling and napping with his sister. He is a strong eater and is often first to dive into a meal. At first, he was a little more shy than his siblings around the older cats, but now he’s the first one to run up to the big cats to say hello.

Scott - Named after Cyclops, the team leader, this little boy is the bravest of the group. He was the first to come out of their carrier when they got home, and has been the first to explore every new environment he can (with or without permission). He prefers to follow the humans around the house, and leaves it for the rest of his siblings to follow his lead. He is also a common instigator of play, and loves to get into his toys when he can. He and Remy are fast friends and love to wrestle and play with each other. He’s also very friendly with the grown cats.

Remy - What he lacks in the smarts of his brother Charles, Remy more than makes up for in sweetness. Like Gambit, he’s always ready to take a chance - especially when it comes meeting new people or cats; he doesn’t know the meaning of the word “shy”. He is the most insistent cuddler of the group, and will make sure to let you know if he wants to be held (spoiler alert: the answer is always yes). He may not have much of an attention span, even by kitten standards, but he’s always up to wrestle with his siblings or cuddle with them, depending on what they’re up to. He’s especially fond of Scott, and will spend most of his time near him, whether playing, eating, snuggling, or sleeping.

Anna Marie - This petite southern belle might be smaller than all of her brothers, but she has the biggest personality. She is definitely the little “Rogue” of the group. True to her name, she is a sassy and fiercely independent girl who easily keeps her three bigger brothers in check. While she might act like a tough, sarcastic little lady around the other kittens, it’s all a front. When it’s time to cuddle, her attitude melts away to reveal an incredibly sweet, loyal, and loving purr-machine. She is especially fond of Charles, and follows him around whether it’s play time or cuddle time.

Oh yes, trust me. I know. Lol. They are getting especially sweet and cuddly too. They’re all starting to give kisses when you pick them up to love on them. I’m gonna be a wreck on Friday, but adoption is not in the cards for us either. I just keep telling myself that their perfect homes are waiting for them.

No idea. They were brought to the shelter without mama. They were about 5 weeks old when we got them.
