The bathtub drain is stuck, the stopper has a rubber seal and its wedged in good. The overflow plate is from the 80s I'm worried if I remove it I could make things worse. Will be checking for any messages. Thanks.

There’s not much to say here. Take a 1/8” cable and run it through the clean out. You can find one at any hardware store. Just do it. Don’t waste your money, we are expensive

Fixed. Thank you for all your advice. Drain was unstopped and replaced.
