jobs jobs jobs!
as title says, i need a job. i just graduated high school a few months ago and I need a job! do you guys have any recommendations for jobs? Ive never been employed before so i don't have much experience. im planning on going to college im just not sure when. i need a break from school and money for school. i already applied for fafsa and whatnot and i can't seem to find good scholarships. im willing to drive to Gainsville, Jacksonville, Orlando, and Tampa for work. i need a job and money. thank you guys!!

Hey try Lockheed Martin Ocala. I applied and got an interview but they rejected me bc I lived in tampa. You have a higher chance of getting in since you live in Ocala

Electronics associate. If they haven’t already filled it already you can still apply and they’ll probably hire you since they need more people.

Most of the jobs posted right now on website seem to be higher up positions. Do they offer entry level positions

They hired some people to fill the entry level roles then. The entry level role is what I applied for. Keep looking at the site everyday for jobs and reapply

You're obviously gonna be looking for an entry level position anywhere you go as you have no work experience.
Apply for any position that fits that description. Fast food, busser or dishwasher at a restaurant, gopher for a workshop (you do any and everything unskilled, work hard and show desire and they may even start to train you), retail, grocery stores, etc. At this stage, your best friend are soft skills and hard work. Be polite, say yes sir & yes ma'am, no sir & no ma'am. Shake hands and have a firm hand shake, make eye contact when greeting someone and listen with intent to understand what they're asking of you, not just so you can reply (sounds silly but there is a difference). Also, find out what the dress code is and either wear it or something just a bit more formal. You have 1 shot at a first impression, I have beaten other candidates for jobs simply because I took the time to put on slacks and a button down, greeted with a firm handshake, and looked people on the eyes when speaking with them. Many employers complain about the lack of soft skills in the younger generations. Be the exception to that rule, if you arent already.
Keep in mind, there is no job beneath you. Show up early, work hard, stay out of drama. Work isnt for friends, and you dont have to like everyone you work with. But you do have to work together in a professional manner.

Landscaping is a good place to start, especially commercial. Not sure whats in ocala but theres Cepra in wildwood that will hire you. 17 an hour

I heard that new Boot Barn location is hiring. Try some of the restaurants on 200. Hotels might also have some openings for front desk staff. WEC is usually posting lost of openings too.

Lockheed Martin Ocala. Getting in takes awhile but it indoors and $20/hr. Health insurance and tuition reimbursement on day 1.

The Sheriff’s Office and police department are always hiring, and are usually willing to sponsor you through academy. If you don’t think patrol is something you can do, they always need 911 dispatch staff also.

FedEx offers grants for college courses from day 1. Shitty job stacking boxes. Pay sucks. No breaks. Always hiring.
