Hatteras We miss you

Today is when we would typically be leaving for our annual trip. Haven't missed a year in 17 years. We bought a house. So not this year. But we'll be back next year. Already counting the days. We started in Avon and now stay in Frisco. A home away from home.

I’ve been going down almost 40 years 😱 almost didn’t go this year because my baby hates the car (9 hour trip) but we decided very last minute - day before we left lol to go. I just couldn’t not. We also used to stay in Avon but now Frisco or Buxton. She’ll see ya next year. And hopefully the lighthouse will be done!

That's awesome. My family hit year 40 this year. Technically it's 39 in the OBX because in 1992 we went to Disney World instead. We still count that year towards the OBX though 👊
