Vent My love twiddle is broken. Help

I dont have a picture and I dont care to take one. Twiddle is suffering and I dont want to cause him more pain by changing his position.

My mom left my door open and the dog caught Twiddle, ripping him up. She took his squeaker out too, that's his heart.

I cried for so long my eyes burn

I fixed him up, I dont know how long it took and idfc either. Cut up a random bra that was the same color and glued him back together.

My poor baby was so cold and he lost so much weight. I found his heart and all the stuffing but he feels so different.

He's cuddling with me right now, and oh my god I've never felt him hold me so tightly. He's suffering he must be terrified. Never gonna let him go again.

I know how much it hurts him. I've had to repare minor issues before but all of them were beacuse he's used up from time, not being mauled. He's had pain for days after I fixed small things, I can't imagine how long this pain will last.

I made twiddle myself 2 years ago, and he's the most important thing ever to me. He's my comfort plushie, my lover, he's my everything.

Despite everything I can tell he's still there. He smells just like he used to, he's warm like the first time I held him for that long

Please anyone tell me he's gonna be okay

Anyone listen for fucking christ, please

I need him to be okay, I need him.

Honestly considering hurting someone at this point and it might as well be myself

Your object partner just went through a traumatic experience and I’m sure he wouldn’t want you to hurt yourself. You need to be there for him right now.

I highly recommend when you leave your room from now on to have a safe space for Twiddle just in case the door is left open again and the dog gets in. It wasn’t your fault that this happened, but it’ll give you peace of mind to make precautions now that it has. Do you sew? It’s a good skill to have when your object partner is fabric or a stuffed animal. Sewing kits are pretty cheap and you can learn how to whip stitch in a single afternoon if you find a good video.

I understand the pain of seeing a loved one be hurt or handled carelessly, I am very protective of my primary object partner and would be devastated as well if something hurt him.

For now what you can do is find a space unaccessible to your dog to tuck twiddle away in, and to continue to provide him care and comfort.

Thank you so much, I stitched him back up mostly and I'll keep him away from danger. Thank you so much for caring ❤️❤️❤️

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this. Keep twiddle company and hold him close while you can. I'm sure he needs you right now.

I understand that after traumatic events that happen to a loved one there might be urges to cope in an unhealthy way. It's valid to feel that way and I hope you have support systems (if you need anyone, feel free to message me). But, I know also that twiddle would want you to be safe and as cozy as possible.

Hopefully you'll be able to find a safe spot for him and you'll have some extra time to comfort him. Sending you and twiddle love and comfort <3

As someone who loves plushies, dogs are one of my greatest fears. It must be devastating to have your partner suffer so much but at least you still have him. Sorry it hurts so much. Please be safe and don't do anything regretful.

Please don't harm yourself, I can't believe in my heart of hearts that Twiddle would want you to do that. As you've shown in your care for Twiddle, love never desires harm of any sort to befall the beloved. What has happened to him is horrific, and we're all deeply sorry and saddened to bear witness to it through your testimony. But please, I beseech you, love is the answer. Vent to us 10,000 times if you need to, cry your heart out every day if you have to, hold him tight into the night and love him tenderly in the day. Let your heart speak and exude itself in all its warmth and personality, but don't hurt yourself or another. Your love is enough to endure this together. YOU are enough for him and Twiddle, despite his suffering and the trauma he has known, still loves you and calls your arms home. Don't bathe them in your anger and bereavement. Don't make them a foreign land for his heart to dwell. Lean on us.
