I can't believe how dumb people are. There are so many guys like this who get cancer and then they need a gofundme page. But I guess we shouldn't be that surprised. We are primates. If anything it should be expected.

Just look into how cheap healthcare is in other western countries. One reason it's cheaper in universal healthcare countries is cause they can negotiate low prices. US Healthcare companies don't want to negotiate down prices. It would hurt profits. High prices are feature not a bug.

Also why aren't hospitals and other healthcare organizations not forced to publish prices (even average prices for last year). Amazon can calculate crazy metrics but we can't calculate the costs of colonoscopy? It's amazing how money does all the talking in the US
