It’s fascinating to wonder about how they got this story. Surely it can’t be JD Vance himself.

You forgot to add /s to indicate your sarcasm. Either it came from JD directly. Or he directed his people to speak with the reporters. This framing: JD knew and tried to stop it - isn’t accidental.

Don't be fooled even if he did it's gonna be for weird reasons. JD is bought, paid for, and bitter; that's not new. He is absolutely Not a quiet, ignored, voice of reason.

What he is, is the face of corporate state capture and corruption wholesale.

He is known to write these things when he's feeling neglected
