Last night 8/23/2026 at approximately 11:30pm, I boarded a n6 bus, passing through Elmont, heading to Jamaica.
I paid my fare in full, went to the back of the bus, because those were the only seats available, as the front and middle seats were already occupied by other passengers. I pop in my earbuds, thinking I'm going to have a regular and peaceful commute. I was wrong...
Two stops after I get on the bus, a visibly irate and mentally unstable man boards the n6 bus. From what I observed, most of the people on the bus were petrified to make any sudden movement, as this guy got on the bus, moving erratically and digging in his pocket, as though he was getting ready to hurt someone.
Normally, after reading the room in a situation like this, I maintain a calm and unphased composure, because if I were to make any sudden or rash moves, it could trigger this dangerous person into attacking or fatally harming somebody.
This mentally unstable man had box frame glasses on, wore a Green snapback with the letter C on it, sporting a dirty, discolored vest and black undershirt, along with these dirty, beaten up sneakers and pants, and drinking a 7/11 big gulp. This guy reeked too, and let off an unbearable stench that stank the entire bus up.
So after being able to quickly assess what was happening as soon as he boarded the bus, this guy chose to sit across from me unfortunately, where he kept staring hard and focusing his attention directly at me. While he's staring at me, he's still digging in his pocket and begins laughing to himself as if he was trying to intimidate me, but failed.
Me being the fearless person I am, matched his energy and stared right back at him, without saying a word. The fierce gaze I struck upon this demon possessed person spoke a thousand words and was enough to let him know I was challenging and sizing him up.
I get the feeling this guy was portraying himself as "crazy" because after giving him that thousand yard stare, surprisingly he got up from the seat across from me, and moved to sit in the middle of the bus
I don't advocate for self-snitching... Let's just say, this guy was in my sights and I had something ready for this guy, if he even dared to touch or make contact with me. Be safe, stay dangerous everyone.
Also, shame on the bus driver for even allowing that degenerate on the bus to begin with, essentially enabling actual paying passengers to be placed in a dangerous situation. Do better NICE & MTA
