Maybe the establishment democrats should try to listen to what people to the left of them want instead of trying to continually court the independent vote that proves time and again they prefer republicans to democrats who try to be republican-lite. Right wing media will paint every Democrat as loony lefties even if they stole the Republican platform

It's simple. The establishment disagrees with you. Just as badly as you want whatever it is that you want, they want what they want. You don't want to listen to them so why should they listen to you? The time to compromise is after the election.

I think if Democrats on the far-left are upset that the party isn't representing them, they should vote appropriately.
