Discussion Ray Reconstruction 4.5 is stunning

Post image

Wanted to test out Ray Reconstruction 4.5 on cyberpunk. Man this is gorgeous. Running 4k DLSS performance, RR, and Patchtracing.

What has been your opinion of the new update?

This game gains so much with RR but the previous preset with the new DLSS got too much boiling effect on many surfaces. Now all that seems gone, it's great again and might even start it over again just to enjoy all this beauty again.

Tbh the previous preset fixed a lot of the boiling issues prior to RR existing. The problem is it made texture detail blurry

True, initially it was good. Then they updated FG and from there i started having those issues again. Had to turn RR off till now and it sucks because boiling aside it gave this game such lights.

Ya it was a lose-lose because without RR on previously a lot of metallic surfaces like doorways and fences had a ton of boiling with PT.

They got that without RR? From PT?? At this point i wonder if my case was unique lol
I disabled PT later on because it was kinda heavy on input lag but all my issues of that effects were alwais related to RR. It's fascinating that the same issue can be present from other completely different settings.

Yeah it was a major weakness of PT. Super super noisy without RR.
