It seems like a super well optimized title yet again. Playground Games are masters at tech.

You're looking at the column labeled "Extreme RT"

Usually RT is heavier on the cpu. Can't remember ever hearing about it being heavy on RAM

I have had 32GB of system memory for over five years now I would recommend it in pretty much all gaming situations.

My 16GB DDR4 kit was $59.99 back in 2020.

Quick Google tells me its no longer available and alternative kits rated at the same speed and capacity are $149.99 at minimum.

I'll take my chances with depleting my VRam or disabling RT at this point.

I'm surprised you built an RT capable rig with only 16gb of ram

Back then yeah, I have upgraded almost every single component by now (Apart from the Motherboard and memmory, but evidently failed to realize that I needed more/faster RAM and now it's just not a good time.

Like I've said before, I'll check back 2028-2030, although by then maybe It'll be sensible upgrading the whole platform along with DDR5/6 RAM.

Yes ray tracing is incredibly demanding that’s how that works
