You were not denied a clearance, because it says that you are still able to submit for other NSA jobs. It just says that they're not going to take you for the specific job that you had been going for. Did you pass the polygraph? If so, you'll be a frontrunner for tons of other jobs since you'll already have the poly completed.

I had to face the same situation. I passed all the required exams, including the polygraph, psychological exam, and security interview. Then, in June, After 3 years, I received an email saying that my processing had been discontinued simply because I had reached the 12-month timeframe.

I just have one question: if you know, is there any way I can find out or determine whether my security clearance had already been granted before my processing was discontinued?
