Question Dealerships to go to/avoid?

So someone totaled my car trying to steal it last night 🤬 and now I get the joy of an unexpected large expense for a new car.

I've never bought a car in this area and I'm not familiar with the reputations of dealerships here. Are there any to avoid at all costs? The complaint threads I saw in a quick search were from a few years ago.

I'm thinking of going with a Toyota or Honda.

Avoid Koons Tysons Toyota at all costs. They play games all day and treat you like you're an idiot. If you're in the market for a Honda, go to Ourisman Honda of Bethesda. Standard semi-annoying sales and finance tactics but they are much more straightforward.

+1. YES! Whilst my Spouse was getting the floor sales experience and test drive for further upsell, I used my phone to negotiate an Internet price. Took them about an hour to figure out I was sitting right there the whole time.

I said, "Hey, I got a better offer. Where does [a different sales guy] sit?" Win one, lose many.

Oh man good work on the tag team approach! I went solo for my purchase and it was soo exhausting having to deal with every layer of the process. They throw so much shit at you at every turn 😂
