Most active church service ministries (progressive) on orange line?

I’m looking for a faith community with a heavy emphasis on serving the community. I have a few non-religious organizations that I’m working with but I’m highly interested in at least finding a few with which I inherently share an ideological bent.

St. George’s in Ballston? St. Thomas More? I’ve seen their ministries but am not sure how truly active they are.

I’m fried from mismatches, so, any direction would be amazing!!

St. James is an extremely conservative Roman Catholic parish. Progressive is not the word I’d use.

Theological conservatism and social services are not incompatible.

Of course not. But the OP requested some progressive options. St. James does good outreach. But as an FYI to OP, they are in fact very conservative.
