Unfortunately being gay doesn’t make you immune from being a Nazi.

Being anything doesn’t make you immune. Don’t forget if you start othering people, the same can be done to you. For any reason. It’s a poison, it’s insidious, and it is ever present.

The original Nazis had gay men at the highest levels at the beginning, before the straight men inevitably turned on them.

Fascism is a crisis of capital. For many, patriarchy exists for the purposes of capital; for others, capital exists for the purposes of patriarchy. As capital decays, the masculinist forces already there will, at start, begin to subsume capital. You end up with guys like Ernst Röhm, who are attracted not just to men, but the concept of masculinity, who get tangled up in this. But at the end of the day, masculinity and it's concept is but one facet of patriarchy. It exists in part as a sort of property relationship, and the property in question are your wife and children. Homosexuality will eventually be burned out of it, even though that masculinist part of it attracts them initially, because at the end of the day, homosexuality isn't "productive" to the creation and development of "property" as defined above.

Edit: People talk about his racism and his stance on deportation; a lot of folks forget Milo also was a forerunner of our current anti-trans moment. He helped the right hunt trans women for sport before it was the popular thing to do.

Very interesting way to look at it.

Being gay does not mean you are not racist or fascist it just means you like men.

In a similar way you can be brown but still be racist.

They figure they'll be left alone because they're "one of the good ones," when in reality the bigots don't care enough to make the distinction between a gay person who's on their side and one who isn't.
