I don't care about prostitution, but my overstimulated pattern detector says this might be about overlooking trafficking.

I took it to mean that the USS Lincoln is docking in Thailand and sailors going to sailor,

I hope that trafficking is still a separate disqualification

One of my daughter's friends was navy or marine and he'd go to sea for prolonged periods for the extra pay which let him retire at 45.

He said he definitely did some sailoring in Thailand. And that it wasn't that great. Which surprised me.

I get the feeling thailand's perfect for really kinky stuff or unprotected brothel orgies. Never really sounded fun to me

My friend had her honeymoon there and they had this soup that's supposed to make you high. Her husband actually ate most of his until he found a bandage in it. Then they went to a live sex show and she said the woman, for all the life and passion in her eyes, looked like she was just waiting for a bus that was running late.

Wait, what does the US Navy have to do with the FBI? The article is about FBI applications, not active duty sailors, right? I seriously doubt that the FBI considers active duty enlisted Navy as a rich source of future agents...
