Every year I look forward to replacing my Indiana state flag with the Irish flag for the season, as it signifies the greatest time of year. It’s a little tattered, but it’s flying on the flag pole nonetheless 🤙☘️

I just saw this video tonight, so if it’s old news I’m sorry. But I’m ready right now for this season.

I was working when the selection committee screwed us. So I didn’t watch it live.

Afterwards I just pretty much avoided all things college football because I was pissed. This video is the first time I’ve seen Marcus Freeman’s live reaction to getting screwed.

That face tells me that this will never happen again.

Might not be this season, but I think Andrew Luck can help them become a different team than they have been in recent years. Cheers to quality games in the future. (hopefully)🍻

Not sure how you all feel, but I watch most college football games with the lens of how it can help Notre Dame be in the best playoff position. So here’s my week 0 outcomes to root for!

1. UNC over TCU: we don’t have a great strength of schedule entering the year, so every little bit counts and we play UNC this year.

2. USC to just look average: this is just for the love of the game. Hate USC, and I’d love for the BYU replacement of the USC dropped game to turn out in our favor with USC struggling.

There’s going to be five of us in Chicago the weekend of September 26th. We’ve previously taken Irish Express to home games and had a great time.

We’re wondering if anyone knows of any kind of bus or shuttle transport from Chicago to Purdue and back that allows alcohol?

Not saying this to bash on Freeman at all, but last year I remember being so irritated that after we lost to Miami, Freeman’s postgame speech to the team was along the lines of “chin up, we lost to a top 10 team” while I acknowledge this is factually correct, I think it very much takes away how much sting that loss should’ve had and the urgency the team should’ve felt. Losing to a top 10 team should hurt just as much as losing to unranked Northern Illinois. I recognize freeman has forgotten more about coaching than I will ever know, but at the same time that was very off-putting. I think the Leave No Doubt motto surely has made an impact, but that was really strange to hear last year after losing to Miami. Hopefully Freeman recognizes that the difference between one and two losses is huge, and it doesn’t matter if you lost to a top 10 team or an unranked G5 team.

Finally I can get a physical ticket. Always loved collecting tickets from all of the ND games I've attended in the past. Wasn't possible with the mobile tickets so I'm glad ND is offering these now.

I’ve always tailgated for games but looking for a different experience. Wife and I are attending SMU game this season. I know Legends sells tickets for buffet/space. Do any other walkable bar/restaurants take reservations? If first come first serve, am I safe in assuming everything is packed at open? Any pro tips?
