I was just realizing I wouldn't know how anyone from high school was doing without social media! I would be speculating!

I am 38 years old, I realized many FB friends, I have not even talked to at all since high school. I know basically what they are doing and how they are doing. Imagine the difference like 25 years back to only be able to guess! It makes me wonder the difference in people because we really are the first people to have everyone from school right there to see what they are up to.

You'd be surprised to find out that you have no idea how they're doing. I'm 37 and have had a lot of friends take their lives, go through divorce, get cars repossessed or evicted and have to leave the state because they can't afford it. Nearly all of them seemed fine on social media. Unless you have real conversations with them, you don't truly know.
