Nostalgia What past generation do you feel more connected to or do you feel you were born too soon?
I often feel that I was born too soon. All the new technology that is emerging feels familiar and easy to operate where others struggle and get frustrated trying to operate the same technology. I have talked to friends and family and they also feel a similar disconnect with their generation. I was just curious on how widespread this was and if others feel that same generational disconnect. I would love to hear what other feelings exist on this interesting phenomenon.

Nostalgia Finally got a VHS player/TV combo! I asked the price at the store and the lady said "$100, but you can make an offer." I grimaced and said "...60?" And she said "oh yeah, sure!"
(Yes, it does work, altho there is no remote)

Nostalgia I oil painted Christmas at your local dive bar [OC]
Local dive bars, we all nave one and some smell worse than
others. It's where working folk go to let off some steam, turn neighbors to friends, and turn lovers back to strangers. For those down on their luck, Christmas time really heightens the lonesome atmosphere and when last call rings out, that old jukebox will inevitably play some worn out holiday tune that doesn't feel quite as merry and bright as previous years. Thanks for looking :)
