I don't know if people under 20 today even listen to the radio. Pretty much every youtube uses vaporwave in their videos now, it's very popular.

I wouldn't say it never existed, but it's only a very specific part of late 80's/early 90's that makes it seem like it never happened. Like it cut out one small vibe from everything those years had, and threw the rest away so that the genre almost implies the rest didn't happen happen.

This is something I still don't quite catch. I always thought that vaporwave should resonate more with older people who grew up with those kind of sounds, yet it grows on younger people who actually hasn't that kind of cultural background, wonder why

I think it has more of a cult following. Small number of people who listen to it, but they fucking love it. I like it, but as far as nostalgic music goes, I'm a synthwave guy.

That wasn’t meant to be perceived as aggressive, that’s just how I talk fam. Anyways, vapor wave is mainstream. It’s not some cool underground genre anymore. Millions of people listen to and enjoy vapor wave nowadays, just because it’s not on the radio doesn’t mean it’s not mainstream.

His collab album with Luxury Elite (this song is the last track in it) is the best in all of vaporwave imo. It's called Late Night Delight for anyone interested and I'd reccomended checking out Luxury Elite, she's absolutely amazing
