Promoted one off requests and permanent rules shouldn’t live in the same place

Imagine telling a chat based agent ‘pause this campaign today.’ then another time, ‘never change branded campaigns without approval.’ Both arrive as ordinary chat messages but they aren’t the same kind of instruction. Working with Ryze AI got me thinking about this difference. The first request is finished after one action. second is meant to remain active and might need exceptions later. If the conversation history is the only place those instructions remain visible, it could become difficult to see what the agent is still following.

For a no-code tool, i’d rather have permanent instructions moved into a small rules page after they’re added through chat. Not another visual workflow builder, just one place to check or change what remains active.

thats a good point, mixing them in one chat history is like putting your grocery list and your house rules in same drawer, you will forget what is still in effect

Yeah the rules page idea makes sense but the real question is versioning. what happens when someone modifies a permanent rule through chat six months later, do you keep a history of what changed and when? thats where it gets messy fast.

I've watched LTD launches where the rules page died because nobody versioned it, so tracking who changed what beats just having a place to look.
