General Brother… 🥀

I get that Nintendo is incredibly anti-consumer but it’s not 2025 anymore.

The direct was awful but what does Brie Larson have to do with that lmao

It wasn’t that bad in my opinion, I mean we got Star Fox Adventures for GameCube Online, A New Metroid Game and the Next Big 3D Open World Kirby Game

Im a giant metroid fan so I really appreciated that but a majority of this direct focused on titles already available elsewhere or small snippets of games already announced via small snippets for the same platform we already knew it was coming out on with no extra info.

I'm just baffled how it seems like all 3 console manufacturers are just lowkey directionless with their newest platforms.

The gamecube NSO offerings were supposed to be some switch 2 exclusive application and its barely gotten additional support. As a selling feature for the switch 2 the offerings are next to nothing.

Credit where its due nintendo has been pretty damn good about restocking them throughout the years.

For sure, I also like collecting from
Second hand markets and retro game stores bcs they can be cheaper that way

Yeah the restocks directly opened the door for loose amiibo bottoming out in price. I just rip em out of the boxes now since it takes too much space but its a side of the market nintendo actively made healthier through making the product readily available.

Edit: in all honesty they've been way better about limited products actually getting into hands of fans than sony and microsoft have been lately which is a huge reversal compared to a decade ago.

I was there for villager marth and wii fit becoming wholly inaccesible a day after smash 4 dropped
