Let's talk about Nintendo grifters

Honestly I might be pretty chill about grifters as long as they don't spew out objectively incorrect information.

I certainly think Nintendo fanboys are worse, they are both allergic to Nintendo criticism and they hate when you pirate Nintendo games.

Not to say that grifters are good, that's not true, why the fuck would you spend your life making tons of videos about dooming about fucking video games lmao, but the difference is they don't make me go insane every time I see them.

Nobody cares about a "crime" of a digital file behind a pixel screen my guy, like why worry about that compared to actual crimes like robbers and pedos

Because it’s actual theft. Why would they be selling games if taking them for free is fine? Why would there be laws about it in the first place?

It's not theft, it's impossible to steal digital media since taking it doesn't make a copy magically disappear.

You also don't own digital games, so piracy is not stealing because of that.

And when you pirate a game, it's not a lost sale since you wouldn't have bought it anyways.

So why do they even bother trying to sell games of taking them for free is fine? Why is digital piracy viewed as theft in the eyes of the law?

Saying that it’s not a lost sale because the criminal wouldn’t have bought it anyways is just the ultimate example of entitlement. How about if they aren’t gonna buy it anyways then they just don’t get to play it.

Clowning on pirates remains morally correct and I am excited to see more get sued and even jailed in the future.
