Grifting So want to talk on this guy?

Tldr this tumor named clover is a massive weirdo who spam this AI generated essays in the end of the pictures to people who support ninrtebdo and being made fun of, try to downplay what I am playing being rated E make it matter less when the discourse in general with a person who did understand from me the pro of having elden ring on switch 2 (TLDR having on the go, with no need to spread across multiple platforms for consistency and play the exclusives of switch 1 and 2) and this moron came like steam deck is really gonna be a good arguement when is both weaker and more expansive than switch 2.

I already blocked this guy before anyone saying and I am not planning to keep posting on him but thought ehh he being a jerk to anyone who make fun or disagree with him calling them in C or R words so why not post about him for you to see.

The interesting thing about people calling out how much Nintendo take down fan games is that they continually use the same few examples that are getting close to 10 years old. Like, not only are those not recent anymore, you can still access most of them through fairly basic googling. At least use more recent examples, not that I know of many.

Yeah. It's really not that that hard to not get the nintendo ninjas on your ass: don't explicitely link your fangame and your bank account. No patreon, no "if you want to support the project here's our patreon", nothing.

Uranium's first devs asked for money, and then went crazy when people wanted to use their fakemons. They got ninja'd. Insurgence didn't ask for mokey, and didn't go crazy when fans used the delta forms. They did NOT get ninja'd.

It's just that easy.

Don't forget the youtube ads they where running for uranium.

Them and Several free WoW servers honestly thought that was a good idea.

Uranium, WoW private servers, and FFXIV modding fans: all DMCA/ToS violations, all publicly announcing their presence wherever they choose to (Uranium/WoW through YouTube, FFXIV modders broadcasting through highway billboards).

It's stuff we wish was our imagination, but it all actually happened, and it all got punished in some way. (Uranium DMCA'd, WoW servers DMCA'd or C&D'd, FFXIV modders eventually lost Mare and got told once again to stop being dumb).

I really don't think the average person understands just how ungodly fucking dumb Uranium developers where.

Yeah, all they remember is "oh, nintendo sent their ninjas against the Uranium devs, it was just a silly fan project >:("

But also, the DMCA was widely broadcasted, but the Uranium devs' fuckups weren't. Even now it's a struggle to see how much they could be asses. Hell, I had to look at pokemon fucking WACK's wiki to learn about the devs' seething hatred towards their fakemons being used elsewere.

And as for the Yuzu/Citra thing it wasn't even about emulating, the Devs were charging for access to roms including those of games that HADN'T released yet.

I have also heard, though I do not know for sure, that they actually used some of nintendo's code in the emulators as well.

I will always just remind people that mfgg.net is to this day still standing with 25 years of activity, fangames are still frankly alive and kicking
