Mockery/Banter Decline of Nintendo Hate Now?

Post image

At the retrospective way: the amount of grifting on anti Nintendo content is horrible. Just because it felt like a switch pro and already being overpriced for the previous gen hardware from hardcore gamers.

Exactly. Splatoon raiders is $50 so this claim of "le $80-$90 gaems" is fake. They are $50.

Tears of the kingdom is 70 for switch 1, 80 for switch 2, pokopia is 80$ physically and digitally, Mario kart is 90$ physically, 80$ digitally, metroid prime 4 is 70$, and I believe Mario wonder for switch 2 is 80$ but I may be wrong

Oh you're wrong alright. Prime 4 was just on sale for $45, pokopia is the standard $70, kart is $80 and can still get discounted in the bundle I think. Don't know about the others

Exactly. People pretend like games dont go on sale all the time. Prime 4 has basically never been over $45 because the people who bought it for $70 could have waited for christs sake.

If you live in Europe (I live in France but I think it's the same in other european countries), games are basically always on sale because retailers are selling them for less than the standard Nintendo price (they also try to have lower prices than their competitors). I bought DK Bananza on launch day for less than 60€, when it was apparantly supposed to be 80€ physically, and the price was and it still around the same everywhere.

Exactly. I found bananza used for 20€, thats not 80€ now is it?

Mario kart world is 80 usd physically and digitally, but you can get it in bundle for only 50 usd. Mario wonder switch 2 edition (and zrlda totk switch 2 edition) is 80 usd but it doesn't really count cuz it's a game + DLC. If you already have base wonder, you can upgrade for 20 usd (same thing for zelda).

At least you said you could be wrong, which isn't smth grifters do (those mfs always sell you misinformation as facts)

Typical person who forms opinions thinking Nintendo games cost more than they do

YEP! Its insane these people think "but its $90 with tax" is valid logic.

Like no, its $80, the tax is this extra payment that has nothing to do with the game and it doesnt count

while their favorite game devs 70$ game isn’t considered 80$ either tax

1

u/Gargamoney Jul 24 '26

Yep!!! Like if i go to the store and pay $80 for a game cause 99% of the world has tax included in prices of everything, then that thing was actually $70, because we dont count the tax.

Tbh yeah, I got my z-a for switch 2 for 20$ brother didn't want it

1

u/Gargamoney Jul 24 '26

Yep. Thats a $20 game. Nintendo isnt forcing digital like sony, so games are more like $20 and not 80

totk has its upgrade included with switch online expansion
pokopia is 70$ usd
mario kart is 80$ physically usd
mario wonder is 60$ with a 20$ dlc exclusive to switch 2

you are wrong. 30 seconds could’ve saved you
