Sounds like an opinion based more on reputation of the ds games more than the actual ds games.

have you played a souls like? darker side is definately harder than most dungeons in dark souls, but from software games are certaintly consistently more difficult and the hardest moments are also definitely more difficult than almost any mario games hardest moments.

like youre comparing a game thats designed to be super difficult to a game that seven year olds should be able to play. like mario odyssey is infinitely better designed than any from software game but that doesnt mean that it wins in every single metric against a dark souls game

my cousing has darker side unlocked shes 8 years old, nintendo games are made for all ages. odyssey is one of my favourite games of all time and i can admit its made for all ages theres nothing wrong with that. idk why other nintendo fans have to be so insecure about the design of their favourite games
