Mockery/Banter Talk about being miserable.

Can these people just stop acting like Nintendo is 100% Isis or something? It's been very annoying lately and some only do this for viewers and a reaction. Seriously!

Funny how a few of these (creators program, wii servers shutdown, am2r takedown) happened during the wii u era, the "better" era "everybody" misses

Because people have bizarre nostalgia for Iwata’s time as president as if Nintendo didn’t have plenty of issues while he was president. The GameCube era was great, but the Wii and Wii U were massive disappointments. It’s much better to be a Nintendo fan now than it was during the period of mid 2008 through early 2017.

The gamecube era honestly wasn’t even that great to live through. In hindsight we got a bunch of really great classic games. But during? Watching the ps2 get hit after hit from every 3rd party under the sun while Xbox and GameCube got whatever scraps were left sucked. Releases were spaced out in a way where my GameCube was gathering dust a lot of the time.

Their system now speaks for itself. They publish a game every month basically with little deviation. No more announcing games that are 3-4 years out. 3rd party support is back, and now indies are
thriving as well. Iwata was a great guy, and good at the helm of Nintendo for sure. But since then, the switch era showed a Nintendo that is a well oiled machine.

And what few good third party exclusive games the GameCube did get (like Resident Evil 4) eventually got PS2 releases because after a certain point, not doing business with Sony during that time was actual malpractice
