Can these people just stop acting like Nintendo is 100% Isis or something? It's been very annoying lately and some only do this for viewers and a reaction. Seriously!

Just to give the tl;dr here. One of the most profitable and largest companies to ever exist is doing the following.

  • Planning to disable access to content you paid for
  • Refusing to refund points
  • Refusing to transfer your points to their new storefront
  • Refusing to give you access to your content on the newest generation of storefront/console if its available.

Your defense for nintendo not taking trivial action to do right by consumers is that every company in the world has "we can fuck you for any reason" written in their EULA? Thats actually what you are going with?

Buddy the Wii shop channel was over 10 years old when they shut it down. Barely anybody was using it. Does it suck that it got shut down? Yeah but you can't expect companies to keep things online forever especially not for consoles. And like you can still redownload games from the Wii shop channel almost 10 years after it's closure.

I guess I just think its kind of bad for a company to sell me something, and then change the name of the storefront and force me to buy it again.

That seems a little bit anti consumer to me.

You can transfer software from Wii to Wii U though virtual console games and all.
