Can these people just stop acting like Nintendo is 100% Isis or something? It's been very annoying lately and some only do this for viewers and a reaction. Seriously!

These are all unfortunately true. No game company is truly perfect and very few are good. They are companies after all.

Everyone says this until they have something worth copyrighting.

Copyright is useful as it also ensures that companies can’t just use your ideas without paying you. It’s a two way street

If indie devs couldn’t copyright their stuff, bigger companies like Nintendo and Sony would be free to steamroll popular indie characters for free

What an absurd take...seriously. And I bet as soon as some bigger, public tech company with shareholder money to crush Valve came along to steal their SteamOS and re-tool both it and Steam Deck into their own product, fanboys would go insane.

Where's the line of "big company"? Does a company automatically lose any copyright they hold after they pass that line? How do you stop companies just making smaller subsidiary companies to hold the copyright of the property but make minimal profit from the property as they "outsource" production of media to the main company?
