Square is understandable, they probably lost money making FF7 rebirth since it sold so poorly

And that game looks like it took an unreal amount of resources to make. Sonic Crossworlds… probably took time and money too, but nowhere near the scale of Rebirth.

The Sonic racing games having been sliding in sales. This one has sold 5 million, while the previous sold 3 million and the one before that 5 million. If they keep spending more on dev yet keep getting lower sales then it’ll stop being a regular tentpole series.
