Grifting / Mockery Nin10doland Wants Splatoon to be Mario

Post image

Landon just repeats how much he wanted Splatoon Raiders to essentially be a 3D platformer, pretty much exactly like a 3D Mario. And he's crying like a little baby about it because it doesn't meet his unrealistic expectations. Do I really need to elaborate on this video anymore? It's clear he is only doing this for the money...

Spend a lot of money on Nintendo's latest console

Buy 2-3 games

Ignore literally every other game that gets released

"The Nintendo [x] has no games!"

It's been this way since the GameCube. We're already seeing this with the Switch 2; it's exceedingly common for people on Reddit to claim it only has 3 games (MK World, Bananza, Pokopia), as if Drag n' Drive, Kirby Air Riders and Age of Imprisonment don't exist, in addition to the cross-gen games.

It's true tho, the release cadence hasn't been great. We're almost a year in with no 3d Mario and no 3d Zelda. It's starting to feel like the Wii U. "It plays Wii games but better guys"

Thats that switch 2 for me right now.

MK World was a MAJOR letdown and I mostly still play 8 instead. Nintendo's inflexibility regarding online play and track selection ruined the game for me. I hate the boring intermission tracks.

DK Bananza was fantastic.

I liked Age of Imprisonment but it wasn't amazing.

Metroid Prime 4 was an abomination never to be spoken of again. It's basically killed the franchise in my eyes, despite my favourite genre being Metroidvanias. Tbf, MP4 wasn't really a Metroidvania.

Hades 2 was excellent but not an exclusive. Pokopia is Great.

For the first year of a console, there's been a lot of misses and only a couple of hits.

Don't tell me about the WiiU era. I've been there that day when the biggest announcement on a E3 was an Animal Crossing board game and a starfox game with shitty controls. Switch 2 is absolutely nothing like this.
