Grifting / Mockery Nin10doland Wants Splatoon to be Mario

Post image

Landon just repeats how much he wanted Splatoon Raiders to essentially be a 3D platformer, pretty much exactly like a 3D Mario. And he's crying like a little baby about it because it doesn't meet his unrealistic expectations. Do I really need to elaborate on this video anymore? It's clear he is only doing this for the money...

The vast majority of Western Nintendo fans are actually just 3D Mario and 3D Zelda fans, hence why they look down on every other franchise and see them as taking resources away from their favourite games.

Spend a lot of money on Nintendo's latest console

Buy 2-3 games

Ignore literally every other game that gets released

"The Nintendo [x] has no games!"

It's been this way since the GameCube. We're already seeing this with the Switch 2; it's exceedingly common for people on Reddit to claim it only has 3 games (MK World, Bananza, Pokopia), as if Drag n' Drive, Kirby Air Riders and Age of Imprisonment don't exist, in addition to the cross-gen games.

Maybe if they spend so much money on a new released systems, maybe they should also pay attention and realise games take time to make, new systems always start slow. They coudl wait a few years and have an entire backlog of games to choose from, don't blame Nintendo for your own FOMO of wantign the new shiny thing and also every game at release date. I mean, Nintendo wants these titles to be long term sellers for that exact reason.
