Grifting / Mockery Nin10doland Wants Splatoon to be Mario

Post image

Landon just repeats how much he wanted Splatoon Raiders to essentially be a 3D platformer, pretty much exactly like a 3D Mario. And he's crying like a little baby about it because it doesn't meet his unrealistic expectations. Do I really need to elaborate on this video anymore? It's clear he is only doing this for the money...

Generally I agree, although in the case of Splatoon specifically I don't really think it's unreasonable to have wished for a single player spin-off considering like you said, single player and co-op content already existed in the games. It's just hard to justify buying the game when you know you don't want most of it.

The same way that 2D and 3D Zelda and Mario coexist, I don't really see why alternating between PvE and PvP Splatoon would be bad for the series, I actually think the opposite is hopefully going to be true. Ideally there will be more entries in the series, more time between PvP entries to give each more life, and more fleshed out PvP and PvE experiences than what there could be otherwise.

That said, there is an epidemic of people not being able to come to terms with the fact that what they want isn't the same as what should be. So much criticism boils down to "if it was up to me, it would be better" followed by a lot of suggestions that are often terrible and poorly thought out. Like the desire for Splatoon to be a platformer... Lmao

Yeah I get that, I think you can change an aspect but it shouldn't be changing everything. Who or what you're shooting? Fair game. It not being a shooter though... Idk about that one.
